Trouble Logging In?

ELS pastors, teachers, and certain others should be able to log into this web site. If you are certain that you have (or should have) a login account, then read on.

The most common reason to log into this web site is to maintain a directory entry for a church, school, pastor, or teacher. For example, if your church obtains a fax machine and you'd like to add a fax number, someone must log in and make the change. This works well, as long as the person with a login account knows his password.

If you know your password, you should log in and check to be sure that your email address, among other things, is entered and current. You will find it under the Preferences link at the very top of the screen, once you are logged in. From there, click Personal Preferences.

If you lose your password, have no fear. Normally, you are able to have your password reset automatically. To accomplish this, the web site software sends a message to your email address on record. You can start this process from a link on the login page.

However, if you no longer receive email at the address on record, or if there is no address on record for some reason, then this won't work to reset your password. The easiest solution is not to lose your password in the first place, but it happens to everyone at some point. If the password reset function fails to help, then use the contact form to send a message to the webmaster. Be sure to include your name and current email address.
