For the past twenty years Prof. Dennis Marzolf from Bethany Lutheran College has been conducting Youth Honor Choir Camps during the week of synod convention. The campers sing for a convention devotion, at a communion service and in a closing recital. Along with teaching young people to sing, the campers are immersed in the rich heritage of Lutheran music and liturgy.

Erika Goff came from Parkland, Washington. She is the daughter of Donnette (O’Neill) Goff, who attended the first Youth Honor Choir in 1987.

For the past twenty years Steve and Lois Jaeger have supported the choir with administration, cooking, transportation, and the many other tasks needed to make this week an enjoyable learning experience. The next camp will be June 15-19, 2008!
