Young Ha Kim addressed the convention
Missionary Rev. Young Ha Kim spoke about the 135-member congregation he serves in Seoul, Korea. East Seoul Canaan Church rents three stories of a building where it conducts worship and an education program in English led by Margaret Kim, Dennis and Dolores Morrison. Forty-plus students from the congregation will attend high schools of our fellowship in America in 2007-2008. Rev. Kim is busy evangelizing prospects and is developing the leadership of the congregation with weekly study sessions.
Greetings from India
I am Pradeep Kumar Lingala, one of two Indian students at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary. I have completed my Master's in Business Administration and I am from Hyderabad which is in the Southern part of India.
The Lutheran Mission of Salvation—India exists in three districts: Hyderabad and Rajahmundry, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, where the language is Telugu; and the Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh state in which the language is Hindi. The LMSI numbers 20,000 souls under the care of two pastors, Rev. Solomon Mamidi and Rev. Ananda Raju.
On 30th December, 2006, I came to Mankato with fellow student Kalyan Gollapalli and his wife Navina and daughter Katherine. The next day we were welcomed with a snow storm, a new experience for us! Article by Pradeep Kumar Lingala.

Redeeming Grace was received into membership in the Synod during the convention. The first service occurred on January 8, 2006. The congregation worships in an office mall. Five acres of land were purchased nearby and construction is scheduled to begin soon on a church. At present the congregation has 53 souls and 42 communicant members.
Thoughts of Faith: Kermit Traska
Thoughts of Faith Lutheran Mission Society began in 1979 with beaming the Gospel through radio broadcasts to the Ukrainian people and then it sent missionaries when the Iron Curtain came down in 1991. Today, by the grace of God, we serve directly in Ukraine, Czech Republic and Latvia. Our service to the Lord is extended to Moldova, Belarus and Georgia by students from these countries attending the Ukrainian Lutheran Church's St. Sophia Seminary in western Ukraine. We can provide preachers for mission festivals and mission programs for organizations and Bible studies.
